A client asked me the other day “what is an RSS feed”?

A buzz has been floating around their office but no-one has yet got to grips with this web tool so keeping it simple, here’s an explanation.

In brief, RSS (short for Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly updated web content. Many news sites, blogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed for readers to access via an RSS reader or mobile device.
